The following was enclosed in a recent bill to customers in Michigan from Consumers Energy:

Don't shoot insulators
Shooting insulators on our electric lines can cause a power outage to hospitals, schools, businesses and homes and affect the lives and jobs of hundreds of people. If you see someone shooting at our insulators, call us or the police. Damaging Consumers Energy property is a crime. Thank you.
