Here is a purple Zicme CD 154 with a large carbon veil in the dome. You can feel the carbon on the surface of the glass, perhaps something was in the mold when it was made and burned on the glass surface.

Presented here is one of my favorite Lynchburg CD 154s. Aqua with amber swirling. Thought to be caused by using a rusty mold at manufacturer the pronounced amber swirl really gives this insulator

It's scuffed up a bit with several bb dings along the dome and some minor flaking but it has no cracks so it's in decent shape I guess. I'm not sure if this is a whittle mold or not, I'm not familiar with them.
