IT'S GONE! See update below as to how it was eradicated!

I will remove this pic from here after (hopefully) I can get some help. This is a picture of the home page my browser keeps re-setting to. I have run Ad Aware, AVG, Spybot, SPyware Blaster, Hijack this, Trojan Hunter, and Spybot Search and Destroy. I have used regedit to go through the different "Run" locations and deleted suspicious junk (which I found a few of). I have looked in Win.ini to no avail. I DO have an entry in the ADD/Remove programs utility that says "Search Assistant Uninstall". It will not allow me to remove it and just comes up with an error. Even though I am running software which will reset my homepage to what I desire after it detects a change in it - this only works the first time. If I shut down the browser and re-open it - I get this annoying page again. Any help out there? This is the first one I could not figure out how to get rid of and it is driving me up a wall!

Oh yes - when I hold down CTR-Alt-Delete - there is a program I find running called "lare." This was not here before I somehow got this spyware and therefore I think it is related. Even if I close "lare" - the home page problem still persists.

IT'S GONE! The home page hijacker is gone (however "lare" is still there when I ctrl-alt-del!)

HOW? Do a Google search for CWShredder. Download the file (quick even for dialup connection) and run it. The problem is eradicated. I then went to the Microsoft website and had it scan my computer for any updates. It found 4 holes to plug. I downloaded the files and they were installed. It SEEMS this nasty is gone. I will update this posting if needed.

Many thanks to the multitude of people who responded!
