I was lucky enough to come across this old transom window from a New York Brownstone that was being demolished. It is approximately 100 year old cut Beveled glass so I built a cabinet around it using 7/8 ash wood that I had in stock in my garage. Those of you that know wood know that ash is dense and heavy and weighs like iron. After completing the cabinet I installed 2 Halogen puck lights and aoila a cabinet to display some of my favorite jewels
