A short distance away was this preservation railway which I never knew existed. This is a lovely shot of the entrance showing some period features such as the 1950s concrete lamppost which unfortunately has a damaged lantern although the picture doesn't show enough detail. The poles however, are twice as old as the lamp as they have the early long/short/long crossarm arrangement which was used up to the early 20th century.
