Early in the summer I hunted a RR in northern Minnesota after a old hunter told me that poles with insulators were laying on the ground. The poles had two crossarms on them and the wires were still attached. It appears they went down the line and just cut the poles down without even cutting the wires. In the pictures you can see clear and aqua Hemi-42s. We didn't find much but common insulators, but searched only a small area. Besides the Hemi's we found a couple skirt embossed CD 145 BROOKFIELDs. This line appeared to be second generation and was placed on the opposite side of the tracks. The poles on the other side of the tracks were sawed off on the old line and we searched by a few stumps but didn't find anything. We plan to go back and take some tools and do a more intense search before winter.
