CD 170 and 170.1 Unembossed Pennycuick

This pair was photographed and loosely described previously. I took several more photos of this good looking pair and thought it would be appropriate to include these updates here. (The previous shot of these two will eventually be deleted). We are quickly learning the do's and don't of insulator photography here!

The CD 170 (left) looks like it is aqua in the photo but actually it is grayish. Chock full of zillions of teeny microbubbles! It looks killer underlit like the sister CD 170.1 in purple, which has quad-zillions of microscopic bubbles! If we can get some appropriate underlit views of these pieces, ICON will be first to know! BTW, the purple CD 170.1 is unique. It was found in California back in the late 1960s along with a very similar one. The latter has some light grayish tones but none-the-less beautiful!
