Now comes how these insulators were kept on their crossarms. Aside from just the insulators, a large quantity of iron hardware was also unearthed. This picture shows a pile of iron transposition pins. It was these pins that gave us a hard time in deciding which line the insulators came from. There are no lines anywhere near here that used any great numbers of these iron pins! And to make things worse, almost every line in the area uses the varieties of insulators we found! It remains a mystery to us which line the insulators could have come from!
