Here beneath some of the photos from our recent exuberating insulator dump discovery! Just how exuberating, you ask? Well, I might just weep right about now from the pure, palpable joy of it all. sniff....now...sniff.... getting on with the....sniff....photo.... The first photo here is an overall shot of the entire dump. The dump, being fairly long and narrow, was a smaller sized one in comparison to what Kyle and I have seen in the past. It measured about 40' by 25', with the insulators being concentrated almost exclusively within an area about 15' by 10' within that. Some bottles, insulators, and other pieces of debris were scattered around in the woods nearby. Take note of the field of insulators spreading from the foreground to the right hand side of the photo, and the large pile of insulators beside, and partially on top of (my fault) the large coil of fence wire towards the rear of the photo area. And the appendage you ask? Who's is it? That, my friends, is a rare photograph of my father! This being one of the only photos of him I can think of that has been posted somewhere, aside from those from the insulator show. |
