This is a Westinghouse OV-20 mercury vapor streetlight with a clear mercury lamp inside it. It is on our junction pole where all of the wires from the house meet and thus "turn into" open-wire. The fixture shown was made in the late 40s and is operated (like the originals) by a separate ballast and pole-mounted photo control (not shown).
