Got a call from Pat Scott on Monday saying that a PAR Electric crew was reconductoring and reinsulating a 34.5kV line in Collinsville, IL. Well, we headed up there, and hit up the guys to see if we could have the old insulators. They were more than happy to let us take any old stuff off that line (it helps to talk to the foreman).
