Eddie Lewis and I gathered up a bunch of common insulators to give away to kids at our tailgater last year. Although, we were able to give a few away to some egger youngsters - I still had several boxes left! Therefore, I put this old trunk in front of my house and set up a mini-insulator display case - with a sign that says: "Free Insulators* for Kids and Beginning Collectors" "*Limit two per person - Thank you". I've also created some insulator specific information tags, that I have attached to some of the insulators to spur some additional interest our hobby. I set this up hoping visitor's participating in the weekend "Ghost Walks" (a historical walk through downtown Canon City) would pick up a few. However, it appears mostly neighborhood kids are taking them home - and apparently they can't read the part: "Limit two per person". Oh well, at least I'm cleaning out the garage and the kids are happy.
