The Central Pacific's Jupiter locomotive all decked out for the Golden Spike ceremony. It carried Central Pacific President Leland Stanford and other dignitaries from Sacramento to Promontory Summit in 1869. The replicas of the Jupiter and the U.P.'s No. 119 were beautifully done by the Golden Spike Historic site and cost well over one million dollars.
