Played around with my new Nikon D70 D-slr camera, and shot a couple perspective pics of some of my porcelain pieces. These were shot with flash and pretty close too - nothing serious at all. I know that taking pictures of white porcelain with flash can be real tricky, as it is very easy to just get blown out highlights. I like the result with the smooth shadows and the various profiles of the insulators and the different tints of the "white" porcelain. But I see that the uploaded picture looks quite harsh thanks to the compression algorithm, but still nice IMO. [IFONA U] |
