I consider CD 143's and 147's to be a part of the Beehive specialty, so I'm throwing this one in too. Although completely covered in train soot when I found him, once again, oxalic (and a little elbow grease!) makes all the difference. CD 147 Patent Other [040]. For the sake of the punctuation variations, it reads "PATENTED OCT. 8 1907_". I didn't have my inventory along at the time I bought him, but luckily he doesn't become a duplicate :-) Also around the embossing is the famous 'blot out' texture, which is usually a tell-tale sign of a manufacture with a cold mold.
