We got a bad case of cabin fever on Sunday, and HAD to go hunting. After rescuing about a dozen nice, but common pieces, we found a long run of these. Ranging anywhere from 1 - 5 per pole, we ended up abandoning everything we had already picked, and loaded up the backpack with about a dozen of these. In the wild, we could see some amber streaking and thought we might have found some tiger-striped beehives. After a couple of days in an acid bath, they appear to be olive amber. We deduced this from Guardfrog's color reference disc and other pictures on ICON. What do you think? We want to be honest with ourselves and not stretch the color to be something it isn't, so we'd like your opinion. And yes, we've already tried giving the "I think they're worthless - I'll give you $3 for the lot of them" speech! :) THANKS!!! |
