These are two CD 145.2 insulators with a Star on the front skirt and a Star on the rear skirt. Both are very deep yellow green with olive tones. The one on the left has slightly more yellow- green - olive in it and the one on the right has slightly less yellow green and more emerald green in it. For all practical purposes they are the same color. Both were found on a railway telegraph line which ran West out of Griffin, GA. I probably hunted about 20 miles of this line. The greatest number of insulators on this line were CD 145 Star's and some CD 145 Brookfield. This was a hard line to hunt as there were no unused replacement insulators already on the line - I had to bring my own replacements and take them up the poles. This line was a real sight to see as the insulators were not heavily sooted and were present in a rainbow of colors.
