I am posting below this, the question from a collector who contacted me. Please post to ICON if you have insights to share, and email back to me if you can remember. I will get answer back to the owner. Here is his description, and his pics: "...appears to be some type of roof mounted brown porcelain glazed tube insulator. It's 21-inches tall, with a large threadless porcelain under/inner base cemented to the bottom, for apparent mounting purposes.. The porcelain tube is hollow, and at the top wall inside and out, it is copper clad for apparent electrical conductivity. There is very ornate copper solder work continuing around the center of the insulator, to enhance the appearance, with detailed coppersmithing diamond shape cut outs. A Knox insulator fits perfectly atop the Tube with exact dimensional preciseness around the open circumference., making me wonder if it was not produced at that factory.
