This is a CD 145 is a "H.G.Co. / J" on the front skirt and "Petticoat" on the back skirt in a nice light pink - lavender shade. A number of these insulators were found on the Central of Georgia Railway telegraph line which ran East out of Fort Valley to Perry, GA. I suspect this was either a replacement telegraph line or was constructed at a later date as it did not have any of the old Western Union telegraph styles. There were some CD 126's on this line, but they were all skirt embossed or dome embossed W. Brookfield / New York. There were a lot of CD 147's and a fair share of CD 154 WT's in pink and peach as well as CD 154 and 152 Hemingray's. I don't know if others have found this, but I found it very hard to clean the soot out of the inside of the CD 145 H.G. Co. type insulators - I really don't know why as the Brookfield always seem to clean up well in my acid bath.
