This is a CD 156.1 embossed AM. INSULATOR CO. N.Y. DOUBLE PETTICOAT. PAT'D SEPT. 13. 1881. NOV. 18. 1883. in a nice powder blue color. There were two different mould styles found in Georgia including this narrow groove style and one with a wider wire groove and more rounded edges on the wire groove. Like most American Insulator styles, these were found everywhere on the Central of Georgia Railway telegraph line. In general, they were far less common than the CD 134 style. I think I traded maybe 12 to 15 of the CD 156.1 styles into the hobby. I have various CD 156's in my collection, but did not find any of this style on the telegraph lines in GA.
