It's hard to believe that a year has come and gone, but it's time to pre-order the 2027 Insulator Collectors Directory.

The Insulator Collectors Directory is a way for collectors to keep in contact with old friends and find new ones. It's a listing of contact information of people interested in insulators and their history, from seasoned collectors who have been in the hobby for decades to new collectors just starting out. It's open to everyone interested in our hobby.

Each fall, we create the "printed edition" – a high quality, spiral-bound paperback book that's a great reference to keep on your desk or in your car. Or, like me, both. We're now accepting pre-orders for the 2027 Edition, which will be printed and mailed in Dember 2026. The price is only $15, with current NIA members getting a special discounted price of $12. Listing is free and open to anyone interested in insulators, their history, or go-withs. All you have to do is register and tell us you want to be included. You can choose to include as much or as little as you would like – telephone, email, and/or physical address. We do ask if you're going to be listed, please choose at least one means of reaching you, as otherwise it's not a terribly useful listing.

New registrations will be approved and merged in during October when we start pulling all the data together. NIA members are automatically included if you chose "yes" to the directory questions when you last renewed your membership. Otherwise, if you didn't and would like to be included, you can always log in to insulatorcollectors.org and change your preferences, or add a brief blurb to your listing about what specifically you collect.
