This is a beautiful color. While it might have a little aqua in it, it is much bluer than anything I have seen on ICON or eBay. I love insulators with wire wear; it proves they were in use and served well. The wire wear has several flat flakes on both the upper and lower wire ridges. There is also the usual chipping on the inside of the round base. This is NOT a mint insulator, but a beauty. I left wire residue (which I like). I don't know if it could be removed.
