For your consideration is a CD 728 [010] No Embossing MLOD in Light Aqua with bright shiny glass. The Price Guide only lists this CD as having a Smooth Base. However, this piece has the CR (Circumferential Ring) base, previously called the CD (Continuous Drip base). Other unique properties are 4 differently shaped bubbles that align in a diagonal line from skirt to crown - a flat oval bubble at base of the skirt, two tadpoles at the upper wire ridge and a very stretched bubble at the top of the pin hole / crown area. The reart also has a series of small bubbles at the top of the skirt / bottom of the pin hole that give the impression of a row of 5 counting vertical bars. There is also a very nice wavy crease in the glass, transcending the rear wire groove almost from mold line to mold line. Condition wise, this is in fantastic condition for one of these. There is a tiny BB ding with tiny flash on the upper wire groove at a mold line that you really have to look to notice it. There is a short surface annealing line on the crown curve at the other mold line. Once again, if you didn't know to look, you would never notice it. The base is much better than most with only a couple area of extremely shallow flea nibbles on the flat base section. This bright shiny unique beauty is listed at $325 plus actual Priority Shipping cost. |
