This insulator is in amazing condition. The top has marking 6-1 and a manufacturing date of Nov-8 1901 on the other side. The top has one small chip and two little glaze flakes on the rim and the base has no visible damage at all. the spout is nearly perfect with only a small glaze flake There are no cracks, impact fractures, or other obvious damage to the top or base. I would describe the top color as medium light sandy tan and the base is blond. The porcelain base gutters are much scarcer then the M-2795 glass based units. The piece can be safely shipped or delivered to Springfield this fall or Rohde Ranch next year . Asking $2800 (+postage if shipped). Please ask for additional photos or details if desired.
