While in Lawton, OK last week for our son's graduation from Army artillery training at Ft. Sill, I spotted a power company office and yard a couple of blocks from our hotel. I don't know what these bad boys are, but they are big enough to make three great coffee tables! They must be oil-filled; there is a temperature gauge visible at the top.

I'm thinking current transformers. Any other ideas?
