Here's an oddball hoopskirt for all you CD 152s fans out there. It's also one for the Brookfield fans, or just the lovers of crude, unusual insulators with lots of character. This Brookfield CD 152 has a wildly crooked dome, as shown. It has a mold number '11'embossed below the BROOKFIELD on the front skirt, and has a RB/MLOB. It's my understanding that this piece was made during Brookfield's sunset years, and during this time there was a novel type of mold in use that permitted adjustment of the mold bottom (the dome part of the insulator) relative to the rest of the mold. In this case, that part of the mold was obviously misaligned! To add some bonus character, it's also got a front skirt that is completely cover in heavy straw marks.

This one has a bit of damage in the form of some small flakes and a grouping of scratches on and above the sharp upper wire groove edge in the area where the dome sticks out unusually far, above the left mold line. There are also a few small fleabites on the rear upper wire ridge. Otherwise I see a few tiny fleabites on the front crown some light scuffs on the front skirt, and an open bubble about 3 mm wide on the lower right part of the front skirt.
