I am posting this photo for someone else - this piece once belonged to a collector in the Dallas area (Charles Warlick). Dark forest or emerald green glass insulator or other industrial-use item, evidently made in France. There is an "A inside a stylized G" (?) logo on it. I see that mark appeared on some L'Electro Verre insulators made in France. The color certainly looks similar to many French insulators. Exactly what does that monogram actually mean? What type of insulator is this, and how was it used? Approximate time frame? Thanks for any info! Update: I got a reply from Caleb Thimell directing me to this listing from Bob Berry posted back in 2020. So this is a type of Standoff insulator, made by L'Electro Verre in France : [id=608404872] Thank you Bob and Caleb! |
