I found a insulator today in my barn that appears to have embossing on the inside of the skirt, where the skirt tapers toward the pin hole then at the point where the pin hole begins, there is a shoulder about 1/4" wide that circles the inside of the skirt. It is on that shoulder that I found what appears to me to read WHITALL TATUM, it's not on the base (like an American) but further up inside. This maybe something known to others...and I've just never known about it....but it seems odd that after 47 years of collecting this is the first time I've seen or noticed this type of embossing. The insulator is a CD 128 WHITALL TATUM C S C.....it is definitely not ghost embossing. Anyone that can shed light on this for me please let me know.[IMG_3286.jpeg] [IMG_3288.jpeg]
