In some light conditions it looks smoky gray or smokey light lavender. It was sold to me as smoky purple tint, and I concur that is what describes it best. There are some nice wisps of amber that makes it even more interesting. The photos are taken with 5000k backlighting. There are two flea bites one on the dome and one just below the rear wire groove. There is some very very light wire groove wear on about a third of the wire groove and a one inch area of light wear on the lower wire ridge above "DIAN".
