The "Rounded Base" is found quite often on Canadian insulators, but not very common on American made insulators. To be sure, the outside edge of the base is rounded while the inside edge of the base is square, sharp and most times has nibbling or chipping. This base is in amazing condition with some very light nibbling. It is EIN053 (the only color listed for this EIN is "blue", and it looks nice and blue to me.) Other damage consists of a 1 inch long wire wear off the upper wire ridge, directly above "FIELD". This was probably caused by the tie wire. There is a rear ¼ inch dome ping and a few other very tiny nicks to the wire ridges. There is a spot of rust in the groove just to the left of the wire wear.
