The "wedge drip" is unique. I have only seen this drip on the CD 102 star, but according to the latest price guide is available on a couple of other insulators. The drips almost look damaged with they are in mint condition due to the crude lumpy appearance. This one is in unusually good condition, especially at the drip points. There is a base chip that halves one drip and a second base flake that takes the surface off a second adjacent drip. With a close inspection I can see two tiny "dots" on both the inside surface and the outside surface of each drip, aside from the one chipped and the one flaked. There is a double chip/open bubble to crown. There is an extra glass glob over the top of the chip. There is also two other tiny nicks to the upper wire ridge. There is a second ½ inch long glass sliver stuck to the opposite crown. The line over the dome is a cold flow or straw line, not an annealing crack. There is a half inch wire groove wear on the lower ridge. $220 to include shipping and insurance in the US, more to Canada.
