Taking another walk along the rail trail and since the vegetation hasn't grown much yet I easily saw the aqua coloured glass through some trees and down to the ditch but the insulator was actually on the opposite side where the telegraph poles once stood which is now a reclaimed field.

It definitely has some damage but I found the busted top in the soil, must have popped off with the frost at some time or another. Not even sure anymore if this beehive could have been one of the more valuable ones or not.
