After searching for a long time, I finally came across a "Metal" strain. It is shaped like a strain but is actually a guy wire connector.made by Diamond Expantion Bolt co. It was used to connect two guy wire straind between poles. Later on, most companies used a porcelain guy wire insulator for the same purpose. This piece is extremely rare to find and I have only seen one posting of a picture of a piece in use in the wild posted on here. Very happy to find this piece. I have other pictures of Diamond Expantion Bolt Co insulators listed in previous past posts. Just goes to show that if you search and wait long enough you will find it.
