The base color of this CD 143 EIN 170 is steel blue with "grape jelly" colored purple swirls or blotches. It is VVNM with only a ¼ rub in the wire groove next to the right mold line. It looks like the mold was dirty when this was made. There are quite a few indents in the surface (they are not impact marks). While the price guide references only a SB, I have heard it called a "pointed base". Only the outside edge of the base touches the table.
