The green CREBB has been especially hard to photograph. Please look at all six photos. Backlight tends to wash out the color. It is not the big bold yellow green, I believe it is the light yellow green. To paraphrase Lee Brewer, there are almost endless shades of color in the Crown Embossed Brookfield Beehives.

LEFT: This is the best representation of "just plain blue" that I have ever found. It is deeper than the normal CREBB "light blue", and does have a little aqua in it. There is NO shop number EIN150 with the 1883 and 1884 patent dates. The embossing is big and crisp, which is unusual for a Brookfield. There is a half inch scratch just below the wire groove on the dated side. There is a light bb mark to the "13th" and a couple of flea bites above that. $25 plus shipping.

RIGHT: The base color is green aqua, but there is enough amber in it to appear to be "light yellow green". It has a nice two tone or variegated color. It looks different under different lighting. This is EIN230 with no embossing on the back. The SN is very cool 14. The 1 is backwards while the 4 is backwards and upside-down.

There are two areas a little over an inch long of lower wire ridge chipping on each side of the insulator. There is some wire wear on one of them, so the tie wire must have caused the damage. I never minded this kind of damage because it shows this insulator was much more than a pretty thing. I see a flea bite and some additional lower wire ridge wear. $60 plus shipping.

$90 for the PAIR to include shipping If you live in the USA and west of the Mississippi River and $95 if you live in the USA east of the Mississippi river. LOT #15
