Hello All, I used to smoke but since being in the hospital and that it may have contributed to my bad cellulitous in my legs I quit for good. Well maybe a cigar on a special occasion. Come on. Recently I came across a couple of neat advertising ashtrays that went with the insulator companies I am collecting. The top picture is of a really cool early Porcelain Products Inc. ashtray in rare green glaze. The glaze matches pefectly with the green glaze pintypes I have. It's about 3" in diameter. The bottom photo shows a more modern PP ashtray with two Findlay Electric Porcelain Co. ashtrays I have. They also match Findlay cobalt blue and muddy chocolate brown pieces in my collection. Both of them are 3" in diameter also. Back in the day, smoking was a big thing and a good advertising product was ashtrays and matchbooks. So glad to have saved these pieces of history.
