I got these at a Rhode Island train show of all places back around 1973 or so for a dollar each. They have been together ever since, even through quite a few moves (two transcontinental) and are my favourite spools. Please note that I really have absolutely no idea as to when or where I got the unusual rack that they are displayed on; the rack was a much later acquisition and seemed quite appropriate for them.
