Hi everyone! I`m using info that Bob Scafe post in his list for sale 10 years ago: "The CD 436 unembossed Pilkington No Tie was an early "experimental insulator" made in England. Very few were ever used in England. Most were used and recovered from some of the first rail lines in Uruguay. These insulators have been confirmed as Unembossed Pilkington No Tie." This specific one was put down by me and a my friend Mario. In the GIFONA (Glass Insulators From Outside North America) book, lists these at $1000 more or less. The selling price on this one is $850 shipped from Argentina. PayPal G&S only (I cover the fees, that are about 10%, with no problem and shipping is about $50), These are rare isulators and it's been a long time since the last one was offered for sale (last ones about 10 years ago by Bob Scafe). Usually these insulators are damaged. These one is in NM condition. Only because there are 3 tiny tics that are shown in this video: https://youtube.com/shorts/B9DBnxqnawo ( is a short in my channel showing the insulator). First email can get this beautiful insulator. |
