I recently purchases a collection of non glass and non porcelain insulators from a fellow collector and fullfilled some of my insulator wants and then some. I am very grateful to him for selling me these pieces, because I probably wouldn't have found them else where. There werre some pieces with different embossing variations or in better condition than pieces I already had but these are the highlights of the best pieces I was looking for. In this picture was two pieces I had been searching for made by Continental Rubber Works. The first is the rare R-1 marked W.U.T. Co./39 on front. Pat. Applied For on back with the carrier pinhole. The second piece is the R-4 style made for Mexican distribution. Marked Hecho En Mexico and a stylized H or M on top. It screws on American 1" threades. Was so happy to get these pieces.
