Left: Nice bubble! It is just a little smaller than a dime, but good size for such a small insulator. The color is a beautiful blue; somewhere between blue aqua and light Hemi-blue. It has the 1893 Patent date. Damage consists of a clean base chip that removes most of four drips at one spot. There are a few light surface annealing lines throughout the insulator, the most pronounced is just to the right of the bubble. There are a couple of flea bites and a small base chip that removes half of one drip point. $35 plus shipping Right: This "more modern" Hemingray 12 has a nice amber stripe that runs from the top wire groove down into the drip points, all on one side. The date code has a 41 and 6 dots, so made in 1947. There is a very very light scratch over the top of the dome. $45 plus shipping Take the pair for $68 plus shipping. |
