Here's a complete 2 piece set of porcelain battery rests found in Luxemburg! These scarce examples have lots of unique detail in their molding: lots of X's criss-crossing the entire inner cup of the top and the entire base- a similar- but not identical feature found on some early (threadless era/transition era) rare porcelain insulators attributed to Norden! (See enlargement of pic for greater details!)

Factory MINT condition! And oddly, the base has a small nipple on it too (typically only seen on the top rest), which may indicate these were used in a non-typical manner. Top piece measures 3 1/2" wide x 1" tall, bottom piece is 2 1/2" wide x 1" tall. Only a handful of these were found over 10 years ago. Last one!
