In regards to Andrew Gibson's post on the sale of his model 4012 pair of calculating instruments, I found this reference to a similar unit in my 1921 Keuffel & Esser catalog of Drawing Materials, Surveying Instruments and Measuring Tapes. These vintage drafting and land surveying catalogs are wonderful!
