What is now the oldest surviving railroad depot in Wisconsin, the Mineral Point, Wisconsin depot became a part of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway in 1880 when it bought the Mineral Point Railroad which was established in 1882. This picture shows the exterior from the southeast with Engine 280. Glass insulators are mounted onto the freight building and above the depot doorway. The depot has been restored and now has a museum - mprs.org.
