Here, I have three CD 161 Californias, all of which have "A" embossed domes. Time to weed out duplicates to make space. California is the epitome of color oddities.

A. is a Dark-Smoke with a light plum tint.

B. is Dark-smoke. It appears to have a purple tint in photos, but I don't see purple. And my daughters (with young 20/20 vision) agree - there's no purple tint. SOLD

C. is a Medium-smoke with a definite gray tint. SOLD

All excellent condition with usual issues such as annealing surface separation on threads, surface annealing cracks on dome, BB-peck, surface scratches on the domes, and wire scuffs on the skirt.
