This is a Mapillary image of a power pylon in Tajikistan. The tower is part of a 110 kV transmission line from Farkhad hydroelectric station to Buston, close to crossing of the Sirdarye river in Khujand. The entire power line is constructed on german-made power pylons, which were removed from the country into the soviet union around 1945-1946. In the former soviet union countries are still roundabout half a dozen power lines on pylons with german origin, most of them in Georgia (Caucasus). This is a typical anchor tower of the former Märkisches Elektrizitätswerk power company, but one of the feet have been replaced by a concrete pillar. It is not known when its leg was replaced and why they didn't replaced the whole pylon.
