After the Great Fire of 1901 much of Jacksonville's electrical grid was buried underground making it difficult to find glass insulators on the sides of buildings in downtown.

If you look hard enough, some of the remaining dilapidated houses near gator bowl Boulevard still have a couple interesting brackets/pins and Insulators that haven't been shot up
