Unlisted LRI 95? No.

At a local bottle show, I snagged what I believe to be an LRI that is unlisted in the current price guide. On the left is a damaged LR 94 embossed HICKOCK'S PATENT/1859 (missing the side tab, sliver chip on top, underpour and chip on bottom, chip to one inside segment). On the right is what I believe to be an LR 95 as it's taller than the LR 94, and matches the price guide for an LR 95 exactly. The price guide does not list the LR 95 as having the Hickock's embossing, and while it's very faint, it's identical to the LR 94 embossing. Another difference is that the inside segments of the LR 94 are smooth, but on the LR 95, the inside segments have slight vertical ridges running down the left and right sides of the innermost surface. This can best be seen in the photo of the tops at the bottom right. Other than typical wear from use, it's vnm+.

Is this, in fact, an unlisted LR 95? What would be a reasonable value for it? Any help is appreciated.

Answer: Jim C. responded: "The LR 94 is a catch-all number for all Hickock LRIs. I've noted five or more variations in embossing. There may be some variation to the inner projections too." Thanks, Jim!
