This insulator is a CD 249 embossed on the front; "HEMINGRAY" and "No 0, PROVO TYPE PATENTED APRIL 25 1899" on the back. It is an aqua color. The insulator is in excellent very near mint condition with only 2 tiny peck marks on the edge of the wire groove. There are no chips or cracks on the flanges or the skirts. It does have the typical light surface haze these tend to have and some soot on the inner skirts. The soot could be cleaned with an SOS pad and aluminum oxide polish.
