1963, 1964, and 1965: Miss Bardahl – The beautiful Green Dragon is owned by a former Miss Budweiser crewmember. She was restored and is still a regular fixture at west coast vintage events. As I remember, Miss Bardhi is powered by a twin-Allisom. Aircraft engines had been a mainstay since WWI, with engines like the Wright-Curtiss and Hispano-Suiza salvaged from retired flyers to compete against specialty-built engines from Packard, among others.
