Here's a rare and unlisted (in all the books and NIA website) German porcelain bustle insulator similar to the French examples but smaller and the extended arm is glaze-welded onto the insulator. Made circa 1900-15. I believe these were used as early fuse holders. Measures 3 3/4" tall x 3" base width x 1 1/4" for the arm length. Incuse marked on dome: "PNN-60" and "S"- possibly indicating made by Siemens. There is a chip on the corner of the arm otherwise excellent condition. Another photo view (sorry its blurry) [id= ].
